intermission – 2025 lookbook

Intermission is a pause in the middle of a
long-standing performance. It is something in
between what has been and what will come. It is
the interval between acts.

This collection presents handcrafted, adaptable
garments that come together to rework some
of the label’s signature silhouettes with a
renewed, exploratory take on everyday wear. Each
piece reflects the raw interplay of opposites
that shape the human experience: presence and
absence, lightness and darkness, structure and
fluidity, joy and despair.

These ensembles revisit some of our signature
silhouettes, disassembling and reimaging them
in new shapes, colors and materials. Among the
looks, distressed, irregular textile patterns
of varying densities can be found, as well
as layered, asymmetrical drapery that can be
sculpted around the wearer’s body.

This is an assembly of the ordinary and the
extraordinary alike. Clothes are, perhaps,
our lowest common denominator - the one thing we
cannot leave the house without, the
one thing we are certain to wear tomorrow and
every other day after.

By looking back,
we look forward, too.
